New Video Camera

I thought I would experiment with including video on my websites (including this blog), so for my birthday I bought myself a new video camera.

I have had a digital video camera for several years, but its so big and heavy that I never usually carry it around.

As a special treat to myself for my birthday I've bought a Sanyo Xacti C6. It doesn't give the highest quality video, but it is incredibly small and light. So I should be able to slip it into my pocket when I go for days out, or slide it into the bottom of my camera bag instead of having to choose between taking out my DSLR or video camera.

This first trial clip was taken at the Guildhall in Northampton, which was opened to the public as part of this years European Heritage Day.
