Family Visit

I popped down to see my family at the weekend.

We drove over to Northampton and met up with both my sister Julie and her two children; Dominic and Alex. Dominic had just come back from a week away with his school, on a trip to an adventure centre.

I don't recall going on trips like this when I was a child. The only school trips I remember were to the zoo in winter, the Imperial War Museum and Bedford library.

I'm not sure what the purpose of these sort of trips are. I assume they must be good for the children's self confidence and they should be great for team building.
