Japan Day
Saturday was Japan Day in Manchester.
The Japan Society for North West England organised a series of events to run in the Great Hall of Manchester Town Hall.

- I like to travel, although I don't seem to have the time or money to go as far as I used to. But where ever I go, it is likely one of my cameras is there to record the experience.
Family & Friends
- My nephews are getting bigger all the time, and so I take the opportunity to record them (along with other family members) every time I get a chance.

Family Visit
I popped down to see my family at the weekend.
We drove over to Northampton and met up with both my sister Julie and her two children; Dominic and Alex. Dominic had just come back from a week away with his school, on a trip to an adventure centre.

User Group Meeting
I spent today attending a User Group meeting in central London. With the new rail service from Stockport to London this isn't too big a deal, the whole journey takes less than two hours on something they label as their "flagship service".
What I find amazing is the cost of the journey. A same day return cost over £200! Looking at the prices for other tickets on the same train I see that something called a "business return" costs £317!
