In the past, I used to make the photographs I uploaded to Flickr available for other people to use through a Creative Commons licence. Occasionally I would receive a request from someone wanting to use one of the photos, and I always gave permission.
This morning I decided to take a look to see if anyone was using some of my photographs without my knowledge, and I found the following pages:
The Power of The Mind - A blog to help people loose weight (perhaps I should read this one).
Not Bad Enough - Described as "married to a sex addict, raising two children, learning about autism, and searching for myself: share my journey".
If I could tame a wild animals - From the "In Java, Literally...Inspired by a coffeehouse in a semi-Non sequitur manner". This same post also appears on muzenews Livejournal page.
Sexos - I have no idea what this is about.
Psychedesire - Another website whose purpose I don't know.
iyoupapa - This appears to be a person just posting random photographs from Flickr.
€69.7m Flutter on the Dogs, but No Money for Schoolbooks - This uses my portrait of a sad child (Alex) to illustrate discontent with Irish politics.
Sexy cosplayers' photo - I think the title says it all for this on. The post was then linked from both this and this additional site.
A Handy Reference Guide to the 20 Greenest Materials - They've used my illustration of a beer bottle to illustrate glass recycling.
100 Most Creative People in Business - London Business School used my polo image to illustrate an article on Business Research News.
These were found after just a couple of minutes. I wonder how many others are out there.
